I'm so glad you said that, Joy. I agree: I know this is a different tone from previous essays we've published so far but I think it does deal with self love, shame, trust, and respect--which are all themes we share and need pathways to show empathy🙏
the writer shared with me that there aren't a lot of sources for information out there so I hope this offers some solace for others who may need to feel seen and not alone. and maybe reddit will pick it up since that's apparently where most of the community and Intel is shared
